I gave this image a 7, had I suspected you where serving, I would have voted less. Yes, you are as a free thinking American entitled to a opinion, but you are �not� from the time you raised your hand during indoctrination and gave a oath, until the time you are given your discharge allowed to voice it! There is a reason for that oath, and yes it supersedes even the Constitution you swore to protect. That oath that you said with your own mouth, tells everyone else who also recited the same words �I have your back� and they yours, doubt in any way brings people home in body bags.
You know, I don�t blame you, I blame recruiters, and television adds. See the world, get a college education et cetra, although if you claim to have had no clue what the military was about by 18, and still signed the paperwork, there is a lot more questions that come into play.
I served, I believed, and knew exactly what was required, and if I was still serving, I would serve the same oath.
It seems you honestly have only one choice, get out, enjoy the freedoms you and others before you sacrificed for, but get out, before you endanger yourself and or any one else around you.
I do not believe you should be insulted, spoken down to, and least of all slapped (how revolting a thought), You served, did your duty, something a hell of a lot of people can�t put on their résumé. Now it�s time to walk away with the same pride you walked in with��.

Nobility ehhh, more like wild abandon, or frolicking. I did a little cowboy work on the side while living in Idaho, and have seen that look before, and I see wild oats. LOL

First we have a hidden face, but it�s not really hidden because it�s shown on the upper right. What is that the girl is hidden behind, a mirror, or maybe glass that shows how she may look in the future?
All this overlooked by someone�s idea of the perfect face..

Your subject seems to have a aversion to the mop, and a halfway smirk. I see a story line.
The young man has made it, finished school, and successful in his endeavors. Maybe he has returned home, maybe it�s just the mop, but he is reminded of what it took to get there. He could have been a janitor, possibly a dish washer, to pay his way threw college. This is only 1 of a multitude of stories this image could hold..

Man, Woman? I don�t think it matters.
I have to ask, is that a fancy coat, or something hanging on, or coming out of the chest, depends on perspective I guess.
Divine in your title narrows interpretation, allow the viewers of your art to form their own story.
Before I read your title, my imagination read that a girl from the future, brought back to her past, contemplates roads not taken.

What a great slice of life image, no words to this story. For this a piano, high notes for the laughter and friendly conversation of the customers, and nimble work done by the cook, and rhythmic mid to deep tones for the construction across the street, maybe jazzy in nature. Cool..

Uncontrolled laughter is white, I vaguely remember and miss that as a younger person. I just don�t understand why you left that line of houses, it pulls my eye to the right taking attention away from what�s important. Everything else works.
