Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1886)by GarryComment: I an one of a few that have taken on theâ Comment on every vote challengeâ. I will post the score I gave you then try to explain my reasons for said vote. Hopefully nothing below will be taken personally, and maybe we can both learn from it..
I think you did a damn fine job capturing both sides of the personality. Your efforts gain a 9 from me. |

A modern day rewrite? Hell I donât know. I know I am fascinated by this woman. There is a story here, and her name might be Alice.
A 10 and faved. |

Not knowing the book I did a wiki on it. Between your image and what I read on Wikipedia I feel the need to search out my next adventure. Thank you. BTW a score of 9. |

Although a fine portrait, there is little that ties this to the 19th century, although the hat helps a bit. I am hung between quality of image and believability of challenge topic. I will place this in the middle and give a point for the hatâ¦6 |

I hate to be one of âthoseâ people, but I hardly call a 2007 novel a classic. Nice shot of the piano, and on a different challenge? On this one a 4 hopefully others donât know the timeline. |

This is a tough one. I am impressed with your capture of the flame, but, I am also offset by the fact you destroyed a book to accomplish it. Iâll leave this as a 6 for now. |

This is a fantastic cannon stop action shot, but, your actors are killing me on the believable scale. I give the cannon a 10, actors a 4 only because of period dress. Score for this entry a 7. |

What a lovely pond, I only get to see things like this through others eyes as I live in the desert.
In this case unfortunately the best score I can give is a 4, allow me to explain. When I suggested this topic I was hoping for inspiration from the content of the novel rather then the title. Now granted I have not read this book but I did see the movie years ago. If I recall correctly it was less about a pond and more about the relationship of a troubled family.
The image shows new photographer mistakes, âheck I have made them myselfâ, the trees in the background are a bit strange. My suggestion is to post this picture on forums after the challenge has finished in voting, there are several people here that will be more eager to help you get where you want to go in photography. |

On this I leave a 6, I donât know enough, or anything of this novel to form any opinion of how it relates. The image is nice and might make for a good cover, but for me the picture contains few words to describe a novel. |
