My eye is drawn exactly where wanted, wanders a bit, then comes back to the subject. I like the texture of the street. The umbrella on a obviously sunny day adds to the story. 7 from me.

I̢۪m usually a 5 photographer here if I get that high in scoring, so take this for what its worth. My eye instead of being drawn to the upper left is pulled to the upper right, to the buildings. I think blurring those buildings and maybe converting to B&W would have helped the impact. My vote a 5.

I like this well thought out shot, very simple, yet intriguing. Two issues take away from your submission IMHO, the green spot -lens flare, and the checkered pattern in your sky, both could easily be removed in PP and quite legal to do so. Still a 7 for composition.
