day 30. 50 days square crop. bush sceneby rozComment: Before I read your comments I was going to say have you been on that firetrail again' lol
Another gorgeous picture and I really like the DOF. The border is tops, but I have to say I am not overly keen on the text (just a personal issue on descriptive text on shots)
Lovely image though |

Holy Whistleby AliciaComment: hahaha
Well once again I am given a reason why I love this challenge
Alicia, I love your new agedness (sometimes the phrase new agedness can be used as a disparaging term in the UK, but please believe me when i say in this case it is said with nothing but affection)
And then....And then.....I discover that you are a Morris Dancer!!!! OMG how my illusions are shattered ;-) I have to tell DPCers that dont know morris dancing that in england they are generally considered to be a bunch of very odd people who dress up in bizarre outfits and go round slapping themselves on the thighs and buttocks with either their hands or sticks with bells on.
The Morris Dancer can normally be identified by the fact that they are male with bushy beards (certainly I am not accusing Alicia of this), drink too much real ale and as a consequnce suffer from horrendous flatulence (in this instance having not meet Alicia I cannot make a judgement) and are the sort of people that you would feel very uneasy leaving small children around (definitely not true of Alicia)
I love the fact that you said 'You have to be a special kind of geek to love morris music - and I do.' because to say that means you are definitely not a geek (a non geeky morris dancer??? My world is being turned up side down) but a very cool person who knows what they like and embraces it (though it still does not me laughing at the idea of you doing the 'stripping the willow' dance or the 'green man' (scary character) dancer
Oh and as an aside....Cool whistle, I have not seen one like that before

Day 28by kellyrc01Comment: Cool sign...Idiot bloke
I have yet to discover the joys of shooting (or even how to shoot) in Raw. Very nicely composed and works well in the square crop |

Day No. 26by GermaineComment: Lovely candid shot, which would have been a very nice entry in the streetlife challenge
Strangely although you cant see either of their faces you do get a feeling that there is a nice degree of tenderness and caring between the two of them (though if this is a lawyer and clent then I guess this isnt really likely...unless the client is rich...then the lawyer might care!!!) |

day 27. 50 days square crop. trunksby rozComment: Roz
Well it was a great choice of font, it has a real Oz feel to it (it reminds me of the posters I see on the underground for holidays in Oz)
As ever lovely shot and great PP. I like the fact that the lightness of the centre top of the frame is inviting but the tightly packed trees and dark border are a bit ominous
Actually it makes me think that this is a view from inside the ey of a forest creature who is looking for its next meal (which could possibly be a human meal)

Day 26 - Ankletby bs-photosComment: Nice low key shot with spots of brilliance where the light catches what looks like brass or possibly even aberlone shell |
