M&M's by karenkComment: Very nice take on the bowl of M&M's idea. Makes for a picture that draws the viewer in on a number of levels |

Not So Fast!! Turtlesby LVicariComment: Strangely appealling, a very nice blend of humour and style, the harsh white backdrop sets this off to a T |

candy lips by NaldComment: Green lips? How about green with envy. Wonderful desat and I love the sharpness of the candy crystals and mouth compared with the softness of the face. Oustanding |

Pure Pleasureby PuckzzzComment: OK, well let me tell you that you have created a wonderful serene and beautiful image, yet tragically (for me) the first thing I thought when I saw this was 'ooooo if she gets crumbs on the bed they will be a nightmare to get out of that cover!!! (I must be getting old!)
Lovely soft image and great depth of field 8 |

Rainbow Twistsby banmornComment: Beautiful
For some reason this work a lot better than any of the other shots where lots of sweets fill the frame.
Great colours and I love the leading lines that you have created
Simple yet effective 9 |

Life Saver Splashby trevytrevComment: Half of me wants to be all jaded and say...'Oh another object dropped into water' yet for some reason (possibly the clarity of the lettering on the sweet, this takes a brilliant but slightly (DPC) overused concept and still gives it appeal beauty and uniqueness 9 |

O P T I M I S Mby RetroesqueComment: Lisa
I have to say that when I saw this I got it straight away.
One of my favourite concepts for the whole of this challenge although if I am being 100% honest I would say that a couple of the techincals did not do it any favours (the slightly off horizontal and the back drop colour)
Still think it is a great shot and congrats on a top 50 finish

Only you can decide.........by Shy ClickerComment: Oh my goodness, I cannot believe this picture finished with the score it did. Well If it is any consolation I thought it was great and am the person who scored it 8
IMO - It met the challenge fully (unlike many which were great pictures but not motivational) the image complemented the title, the image itself was very good, nice unusal POV. Good focus and the white sky that others did not like for me gave it a sense of light and hope...Ohhh and I liked the type and thought the cloud like bubble worked well
In DPC there are always enough people to tell you why a picture is not good, but let me try and counterbalance that by saying this is a damned fine shot of which you should be proud
Great job |
