Very simple and minimalistic and even though you cant see motion blur you do get the idea of something closing. The shadow of the handle adds a nice element to the composition

Very original. Find it simulatenously amusing and disturbing I have to say the hole in the sock is quite distracting in terms of getting the 'story' of the shot across

Very nice image that uses shadows well to convey the end of the day. It feels like it wants to be a great picture (possibly a ribbon winner) but that somehow something doesnt quite work. Having thought about this I just wonder whether the chair makes the frame slightly cluttered and whether it would have been better without it.

One of a number of good end of day pictures. For me (and I appreciate this may sound a bit stupid given the topic) it is almost a little too dark and maybe it would have been better cropped slightly more from the bottom
