Really like the yellow on yellow concept and the black border works well. Nice composition though perhaps could have been just a touch sharper

Great perspective, POV and crop. Not quite sure why but although the colours are wonderful they seem almost to be slightly muted on my screen

Still a shot that I would have loved to have taken 8

Goodness what a fearsome looking woman! With a teacher like her I think I may have concentrated a touch more at school.

I presume this is a reconstructed living-village from the 19th Century. I do like the composition although the light spots are a little distracting. Very nice almost muted colours help emphasise the 'age' of the scene. I am both glad that you avoided going for sepia (which would have perhaps been a little too obvious) and at the same time intrigues as to what it would look like as a sepia shot

Good composition and I like the fact that whilst it is centred the fact that Miss Nutterman is sitting to one side and the books are stacked to the other means that it is asymettrical

Nice shot

OK well it would appear that the DPC world did not view this in the same light I did

Still think this is a nice unique take on the challenge and the black background works very well

Love the title too

Peter, you are just on fire at the moment!!! Another great great image to add to the portfolio

Perfectly composed with a very cool POV, the colours are vibrant (especially the yellow road markings which act as such a cool leading line)

I will confess to giggling slightly at the fact that your wife before she started her 20 miler had to do sprints past you for you to photograph

Good job buddy

Congrats on your second highest score! Inspired by Nitsche maybe but delivered impeccably by you! This was one of a few stand out shots for me in the challenge. Part of the beauty is in the way you have made what must have been quite a tricky set up look so simple and minimalist

Love the way you have kept the tape spool so tight and that there are no blemishes on the s -curve

Terrific job, many congratulations

I hate you!!!! A couple of weeks ago I took some photos of frogs which I truly beleived were the best ever to be taken of our amphibian buddies and then I see this and I realise that you just blew my efforts away

Great that you got a 6+ but deserved even more

Lisa, beautiful colours and a photo that is both soft and focused simultaneously. Think it is one of those pictures that either strikes a huge chord with people or doesnt (just look at the average score of your commenters!!!!) and I have to say that for me, as with many of your images it really really works

Karen....Doing a happy dance for you here. Glad I was not the only person that noticed the reverse sign but also delighted that people recognised this for the wonderful image that it is. Brilliant!!!!
