A foggy morning here in Connecticut. I got the idea to enter this when my wife came down stairs dressed for her 20 mile training running. It was pretty soupy out and the idea lightbulb went off. I went outside, asked her to run past me at full pace and I would try and do the rest.

I am really not sure how this will do as I usually try to make images as sharp as possible with lots of USM and tripods etc, but I quite like this image and so does my wife, so that is good enough for me! Predicted score: I have no idea but... 5.5-5.8

Processing: Shot in RAW, opened in CS2, adjusted exposure, increased luminicity, save. Opened in Elements 3.0, noise ninja to smooth out image, but with high contrast and high USM, adjusted levels (r,g,b), adjusted brightness/ contrast, adjusted hue/saturation. performed noise ninja again to smooth image. Save for web. Opened and adjusted hue/saturation. Save.

WOW .. this is fantastic .. a great photograph processed so well .. love that wonderful contrast created by that clean yellow line and of course the perspective .. also how your wife's running into the light .. excellent in every way .. congratulations on a brilliant score .. :)

Peter, you are just on fire at the moment!!! Another great great image to add to the portfolio

Perfectly composed with a very cool POV, the colours are vibrant (especially the yellow road markings which act as such a cool leading line)

I will confess to giggling slightly at the fact that your wife before she started her 20 miler had to do sprints past you for you to photograph

This is an amazing shot! I like so many things about it... the double yellow line, the shape of the fog, the light and dark. Wow!

Pretty cool effect. Putting the jogger in the middle of the street on the lines was a great choice.
