Jeremiah 29:11by garrethtComment: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Interesting choice of quote for the illustration, not 100% sure that it works completely with the picture, how about Proverbs 34:14?
Anyhoo back on subject...Very nicely composed and the loan oarsman does add a sense of feeling to the image. There seems to be something right on the left hand border about 1/3rd of the way from the bottom which is distracting me way more than it should do and could possibly have been cropped
Lovely sunset and reflection |

Soul Meditationby LadyKComment: Very nice composition and I like the depth of field that you have used together with the gentle black and white conversion
The curtains are a little busy and distracting, but if you were going to use these as a backdrop it might have been slightly better if you had cropped down a little to lose the point where the curtains and the ceiling meet
Just a couple of thoughts for what they are worth |

Peace Lilyby jpochardComment: Great shot and wonderful black and white conversion. Meets the challenge in an off beat but entirely valid way 8 |

m u t eby surfinbirdComment: Very nice capture, especially the bill on top of the neck which adds a 3d feel to the shot and the suspended drop of water. Nice DOF although I maight have suggested a slightly different crop so the bill was on a line of third |

peacefulby whiterookComment: Almost but not quite a great image. The dimensions are a little offputting and there seems to be quite a bit of noise (especially where the cloud filters into the skyline) still a nice image 6 |

Where the streets have no namesby StagoleeComment: Well I have to say that it takes something pretty special to make me gasp at a 'silky water' shot at the moment but for me the fantastically sharp and beautifully coloured fern give this image that. A simply wonderful addition. Not quite sure that it screams peace at me but still a rock solid 8 |

Room with a Viewby BAMartinComment: Great contrasts and wonderful colours combined with a fascinating (if ultimately rather sad) subject. From a presonal perspective I may have prefered the very top of the building not to be cropped off (although that could be because living in grey on England I have a bizarre and unrequited love for beautiful blue skies)
Love the detail from the cracked plaster to the sink to the fading sign
Super image |

Encasedby MelethiaComment: Deb
nice image and great for the challenge. Super colours and composition and the 'ghost' image has an air of intrigue about it (in fact I wonder what it would look like with just the reflection and the actual flower cropped out
Love the gentleness of this |

The Holy Terror Catby MelethiaComment: Deb
What a wonderful image (and this from a non cat lover). Tremendous high ket shot and the darkness of the eyelids (especially the one on the left) combined with the subtle eye colour and pupil just give a brilliant focal point and add real oopm to the image
