Ready For Flightby philupComment: Great image, shame you lost a bit of focus on the wings and the legs, but if this was - as it appears - just about to take flight then this is another great capture |

Sweet Ladyby JudiComment: Great effort, bit of a halo around the uppermost part of the ladybird, but still a great shot |

i spy with my little eye ........ arghhhhhh!!!!!by rozComment: Aghhhh Its empire of the ants all over again...except this is excellent and that film was terrible...Almost the perfect ten, but just a shame that the DOF could not be extended to capture the rear of the ant to the same extent that its head and jaw were...Still stunning |

Eight Is Greater Than Sixby libertyComment: Ha ha...Thus endeth the great arachnid v Insect debate
!!! Arachnids rule!!!! Mind you I am having to give you a DNMC because I cant see the full thorax abdomen head and six legs...So that's a three!!!! (Only JOKING, I give one point per legs of a spider) Great shot |

Teamworkby meneleComment: Nice shot...Was it taken at Lodon Zoo (if not they have a similar set up with ants and rope there). I had visited it with my daughter about a week BEFORE the challenge was announced and kept thinking...God I wish I was going back. Love the capture of the ants mandibles |

Daisy Chainby bjoernComment: Great daisy chain..not sure why but the colours seem a bit washed out, and the item (hood?)directly under the models chin is a bit distracting, as do the odd stray hairs. Having said that I still like it and it a nice bit of creativity in this cahllenge |
