Nothing to Cry Overby moonwellComment: Well I cant even begin to imagine how you took this photograph but all I can say is wow!!!
Just when I think that if I see another crown of milk I will scream you produce something that is way and above any previous representation. An incredible shot, 10 from me and if this doesnt ribbon then DPC does not deserve to have you contribute shots to it |

Noseby keibo84Comment: ooooo a real grower (the picture not the nose). When I first saw it I thought I didnt like it, but the more I look at it the more it appeals. Wonderful ethereal effect with the high key. I am sure that this is really going to divide opinion but for me it woks really well as an abstract |

Ancient Curvesby SandyPComment: OK, well lets look at the facts before I say anything
You - 44th 6.1824
Me - 193rd 4.6467
OK so now having established my credentials, I gotta say that whilst I really like this shot compositionally (but do prefer the outtake) there seems to be something just a little off about it
I think it make be the dome and the sky which just seem a little fuzzy but for some reason attract my eye more than they should and means I dont get to concerntrate on the beautiful sharpness, texture and repetitive pattern of the arches (which are by the way magnificent)

The Curve of Musicby CharleneComment: Just think how high this would have scored if you had gone with my title suggestion!!!!
Well you know how great I think this shot is as has been mentioned it has a fantastic aged look and I think that the crop is perfect
Wonderful sharpness and great B&W conversion
Many congrats on the new front page image (even if it does mean that my leave kicking foot is now consigned to the dustbin of history)
Top top job that makes me smile |

S is for Shadowby colorcarnivalComment: For the life of me I cant understand how anyone gave this a 1, 2 or 3. Even if they dont like they subject then surely the technical strength warrants higher
I love this shot for the challenge, beautiful curves abound and the slight disorientation between metal and the shadow is cool. May have prefered it without the cut off but still a lovely image |

tiptoe through the cliviasby rozComment: Im sure its just my schoolboy sense of humour but your title made me giggle and snort out loud
Brilliant macro and the capture of those antennae is breathtaking
I really think this was underrated.
Wonderful counterpoint between the darkness of the butterfly and the brilliance of colours of the flower

Sunrise over the Arcby danielvComment: oooooo struggling a bit with this shot....
I love the composition, the star burst effect and the sharpness, but the difference in hues on the left and the right I find to be quite distracting and rather than adding to the shot detracts a bit (just my opinion and fortunately I am not the global artbiter of taste!). Id love to see this as a strong b&W |

Insight by MAKComment: Wow. I have to say that I am not a big portrait fan in free studies, but occasionally DPC throws up an image that just stops you in your tracks and leaves your speechless
This is one of those shots
Love the fact that even though you have gone for only a half face portraitt (my favourite) that you have got it filling the screen so well
Love the high key and the outstanding shapness.
Terrific B&W conversion
9 from me |

Close Encountersby thomaspeopleComment: Walter
Good to see that you remain in touch with all things perverted peep!!
The photo made me laugh at once and I knew of only one genius that could have taken it
See all that effort we put into the sheep herders and all we needed to do was take flashing peeps to get our tops score!!
Many congratulations on the placement and the fact that that shot is going to be with you for a long long time
