Fruit Bearing Treeby SkyeMariComment: I really like the concept behind this shot. Not quite sure whether it would have been better in colour (though I wonder if the colours did not go). Given that you went B&W I think it could have done with a little more contrast to give it some 'pop' |

Winter's Lastby bassboneComment: Oh man I had really liked this shot (I was one of your 27 7s)
I thought you had created a really cool shot (figuratively and literally) and I thought to dof was perfect, gave the image a real sense of coming out of the screen at you
DPC Voters, who understands them (although Id still swap your score for any of my current ones) |

Play Ball!by bassboneComment: A glove with a ball in it? That's a catch right? I'm guessing the arm attached belongs to a Royal and not a White Sox
Not voting in this challengebut if I was this would score very highly. Great sharpness on the stitches and I can almost smell the leather of the glove

The End of the Rainbowby colorcarnivalComment: Top bokeh which provides a wonderful kalaeidoscope of colours as a background to the really sharp threads in the foreground.

Up-Rooted.by ShannonLeeComment: Your photos make me smile
Your scores make me frown and realise why you only enter challenges rarely (although at the moment I would kill for a 5.82)
This is a beautiful composition I love the graduated colouring of the sky as it moves from top right to bottom left, ending with that lovely solar glare
Most of all I love the relationship between the man and the tree. Peaceful and mysterious with the lowest branch seeming tobe extending an arm out to him
Great silhouette and I can totally imagine this on an album cover (it would have to be a cool cd though) |

Warm Day on the Beachby KarenNfldComment: Mannnnnnn your DNMC's look far better than the ones I normally get in challenges
Very very nice black and white conversion (and great finish by the way)
I love the POV of the wood in the foreground, it makes you feel like you are looking up a petrified tree and then when you get to the cliffs it really distorts your peception of what you are looking at. Disorientating yet attractive at the same time
Super shot and super finish |

predatorby rozComment: I am running out of superlatives for you and your macro obsession with insects, so I will restrict myself to one word
WOW |

Bloomsby RetroesqueComment: Lisa
A nice picture of contrasts:
I like the difference between the greens on the right and the more aquamarines (with a hint of purple) on the left, similarly the life and vibrancy on the right compared to what looks like dryness and a touch of decay on the left
To be honest I might have prefered a tighter crop at the bottom at the 'horizon' where the table meets the wall (which is another cool green.

First Loveby CharleneComment: I looked down at your comments and feel fully justified and slightly smug at the fact that the word 'fiddle' was used (of course 'banjo' would have made me happier
I love this shot because even though it is of the same subject as your curves image it tells a different story
The sharpness of the strings is great and has a strong 3d effect, although the fact that there is one missing makes me feel slightly melancholic
Terrific Black and White conversion and - no surprise here - congratulations on beating me again!!!
5 10's pretty cool |

Tilt En Vogueby colorcarnivalComment: I recognised the model straight away (nice haircut as well!!)
Cool photograph and plesantly disorientating. Great strong diagonals created by the tilt and a top drawer black and white conversion |
