Happy to see me? No, guess not.by MelethiaComment: OK, when I was reading in the scores thread about how badly you were doing there is no way on earth that I would have connected your score with this picture. I thought is was intriguing and enough like a part of the body to warrant being in the challenge
Perhaps it lacked enough breast for many voters

The Mentorby SandyPComment: I thought this was the nicest hand in hand shot in the challenge. Tells a wonderful story of gentleness as even though your husbands hand is (obviously) stronger than Jacksons its position (with the curled two finger) is actually softer than Jacksons thrusting hand, which creates a cool counterpoint to their actual hand sizes and skin toughness
(Does that make any sense?)
Lovely detail and black and white conversion

Daintyby colorcarnivalComment: Hahaha, well the first line of your comments made me laugh (depressingly true)
Strange photo, in that from a personal taste point of view I have to say it doesnt really do it for me BUT from a technical point of view I thought it was really well done and a strong image
I quite liked the paradox between the title (and subject) amd the grime of the image |

Skylineby pellemannenComment: Great idea and well executed - I think if it had not been for river city in steel (which although I feel both pictures are as strong as each other possibly imo has one or two little additional touches) this would have ribboned. Still deserving of a very high score and a great placing. Terrific image and spot on in meeting the challenge |

Dunes at Nightby karmatComment: Very creative idea and nicely executed. I am still wondering whether this is brown sugar or a very artfully placed blanket, but what ever it is it works well. I love the subtlty of the curves that you have greated and the 'by moonlight' adds another level. Beautiful textures. Bumped to 9 |

Icebergs basking in the moon light.by cptpolandComment: Great shot. Terrific concept and delivery. I dont know whether there is perhaps just a little too much ice berg, but that is a very minor issue, love the blue hued moonlight. I think this will do very very for you |

All Keyed Up and Ready to Growby tjandjwsmithComment: Probably my favourite idea of the whole challenge. It just made me gasp and smile when I saw this, very creative.
good colours. A couple of little points, it seems just a fraction off on the focus and I wonder whether turning the keyboard slight would have added an interesting angle rather than a straight on shot
Let me tell you though I would take a shot like this over yet another pixel perfect 'smooth water' 'northern lights' or 'crown of water' ever time
Great creativity 9 from me |
