Day 14, Freakby jackal9Comment: Just a wonderful story and I am sitting here in England laughing my head off, though I am not sure whether its more at your daughter's banner waving (ha if I saw that at the window of a car I would be sure to never cut the driver up) or the fact that you got savaged by GIZMO!!!!! Oh the shame!!!!
Also thinki its wonderful that despite your gruff exterior you love and pride in your daughter and her work just shines through here

Day14 - By that pondby WalesPComment: The tail seems a little blown out, normally not a great thing but in this instance it really helps draw the eyes to the wonderful chocolate brown of the head thorax and wingtips |

day 14 - scouts.jpgby rachelellenComment: Definitely has a start of the day feel about it which is nicely accentuated by the soft tones and contrast of the conversion
I love the contrasting expressions on the faces of the two men in your life, your son has that eagerness in his eyes whilst your husband seems to be asking 'how did I get myself suckered into this'
Maybe not technically perfect but a lot more human and nicer than many photos that are

day 15 - triptychby BudComment: A stunning triptych and the opposite corners over the large image works very well.
Beautiful colours and sharpness
A genuine pleasure to see
Thank you |

Meramec.jpgby jackal9Comment: Jack
Glad you had a safe journey. I love coming across weird little things like this on my travels. Excellent 'out of place' colours |

day 15 abstraction.jpgby suitenessComment: The great thing about this challenge is that it allows you to experiment without having the risk of voters deciding that it is not there thing
Think I must be a bit of a traditionalist because I have to say that I far prefered the inspiration as a shot, but that being said I like the idea behind the shot |

Day 15by CharleneComment: I was about to say that this would have been a brilliant entry for the negative space competition a couple of weeks back, then I remembered your 'not even a bird' entry and I realised that you had already had one
I love the brilliant blue sky (polarising lens?) and the whitewashed walls (Brings to mind the colours of the Royals).
And the fact that the bells are small just emphasises the big sky
Absolutely amazing focus and sharpness
Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best
Brilliant shot

Day 15 - Two Cool Dudesby colorcarnivalComment: Yaaay great picture of your children giving 'attitude' but still looking like happy kids
Lovely B&W conversion, though I have to ask if your youngest son sunglasses are missing an arm?
Looks like a lovely memory of a fun shoot/day

Day 15 - Road Less Traveledby BAMartinComment: I love the blind dips in the road and the fact that each subsequent rising is set slightly to the right of its predecessor
Looks like a big open part of the country you live in. Idyllic |
