The Abolition of Selfby CutterComment: wow- great lighting! The pose comes off a little forced but the composition is great & I love how the thick border contributes to the diminishing of the subject - makes the image seem much larger than it is. -- 9 -- |

towby spydrComment: The mottled tones make this neat to look at.
It's an interesting study - the strong key (almost side light!) works well to add interest though the dark bottom and seemingly cropped top detract a little by giving an unbalanced feel -- 7 -- |

Seasideby robaComment: Very nice - I like this, It could use a little more dynamic range but the angles presented by the chains present a great first impression, then one notices the tones on the wood and then you notice the gull. It lacks the oomph factor (IMHO) but it's neat nonetheless! -- 7 -- |
