Study Tableauby dsternerComment: Hey Deb - I gave this an 8 during the challenge. I thought it was good use of DOF - even tho - based on some comments I got, I must not totally understand SHALLOW DOF. Oh well lol. Good lighting. Good job! |

The Dancing Ladies Orchidby TlemetryComment: How did you find this in your icy tundra? lol That is great that you can look at something like this and see an orchestrated dance. I don't have quite the eye for that. Nice pic! |

Buffalo, NY Finally Sees Winter's Entrance (after unseasonably long high temps.)by dsternerComment: Hi Deb - nice idea! One suggestion for you to try if you want to keep this pic for your own use... I'd crop off some of the bottom, to cut out some of the grass and maybe even the path. And then play with contrast - you need to bring out some brightness in the pic to play against the darker color of the trees. Try it and I think you'll be surprised at how different the pic looks. Keep 'em coming! |

Cartoon Style QUICK EXIT Or, Married With Children?by J-MeComment: I really liked this photo and thought it was one of the better ones in the whole batch. I think the frame is fitting - it helps emphasize the jaggedness of the whole situation. Too bad it did not score better - I think it deserved higher. Oh! Perhaps if you had an "exit" sign or door in the pic? heh heh heh :) |
