Very artful stuff, but not your typical classic portrait, so I fear this is why it was not scored highly by most in voting. I think most folks (not all and clearly not those who left very positive comments on your photo) feel that portraiture is about the face and eyes, and the shot you produced with the very pretty model lit from the back and side does not provide much of either the face or the eyes.
