Looks like a view through a magnifying glass!

Ooh, that is pretty! A very abstract view of a very ordinary subject. The detail on some of the lichen in the foreground is stunning, and I love the colors!

It's nice to see those things we don't stop often to look at. I like the mish-mash blend of all the natural objects.

Great colors. I almost feel woozy looking down in the cold. (I remember those cape winters from grad school days.)

My first impressions are not usually critical. And I think lichen is so photogenic. And fun to look at. Hm. Took another look after reading the comments. I can see a blue influence, especially along the length of the stick. I see the lichen as green-ish, some of it esp along the stick as turquoise. The reds/yellows seem a little hot. But you know, I can accept all that as your choice, no problem.

In my job I am amazed daily by the lack of color vocabulary in ordinary (not-artist) people. They see a color but can't put a name to it. Not color-blind people, either, just regular people. If a person has no name for the color they see, I can't help wondering if they are seeing the same color I am. I can see green with a major influence of blue. They see "I don't know."

Anyway. Nice lensbaby shot. Love the dizzy feeling.

I really like your subject. Even more so that you seem to live in a place where there are fairies who drop their magic equipments on the ground.

I'm seeing blues and magenta (twigs) but despite that the photo is really nice. I'm starting to really like this LB stuff!

Looks blue on the IPhone. Does the software save your color profiles In the picture file?? Some may be using srgb and others using adobeRGB in their monitor profiles.

At any rate, the winter cold is apparent and it looks nice and crunchy underfoot!!

Thanks for the feedback. On my monitor the lichen is light green, or maybe more of a turquoise color. The out of focus lichen though does perhaps have a slight bluish tinge. I was trying Vivenza for the first time and may have been too heavy handed and introduced something that is really unnatural looking. I may re-process, but it will have to wait for now..
