This is a great picture. I think two things would make it even better. 1. Slower shutter speed, to get some blade rotation. (I don't know exactly how that would look. The blades may disappear completely). 2. Larger helicopter. Maybe 100% larger. Just some thoughts.

For me the photo is a little too dark. An overall brightening of the image while maintaining the contrast for the silhouettes, would have been a stronger entry. Aside from that, it is a very nice, peaceful shot. I want to go fishing now.

Day at the Beach

This is a little too much like an underexposed snapshot. The water doesn't provide enough contrast from the models. The sun needed to be lower in the sky. The steep shoreline also forced a downward shot that caused the horizon to be a too high. If you could've lowered the camera to put more sky behind the models, the silhouette would have been enhanced.

This is a great shot. I think originality will be the reason that you don't score even higher on this shot. Great colors, Great contrast. This was my daughters favorite.

The color and contrast in this shot is excellent. My only suggestion would be to get more detail on the model. The scarf, hair, and arms all come together in the primary focus of the image and even though you know what it is, it is too distorted.

Love the shot. It's not a strong silhouette, but if it were, it wouldn't be much of a flower. So, given the subject matter, I think this is the best you could do.

Very nice. The striking match is a great aspect of this photo. Unfortunately, I think the smoke detracts. It looks like a smudge, and keeps taking my eye away from the man and the hand. Your cropping is dead on.

I think I would like this better if the second person was not in the photo. The flowing scarf is a nice touch.

Very, Very cool. Love the way the sun lights up the dust and highlights the top of the elephant. It looks like the top of a volcano. I would like to see a version with a tighter crop on the animal. You would loose some of the dust cloud, but the animal silhouette is so strong, I think it would look great. Perfect border.
