Showjumper IVby cheekymunkyComment: I think this looks a little over-processed. I can't work out whether you've used NeatImage or something? I think otherwise the image is pretty strong, although I'd like to see a little more space above the rider's head. |

Showjumper IIIby cheekymunkyComment: Good timing, although it's a shame you can't see the rider's face. I like the tall crop too - well chosen for this shape of image. |

Showjumper IIby cheekymunkyComment: Very nice composition. You've managed to reduce b/g distraction as much as possible, which is important. You've also captured the image at a good point. It's often easy to get the horse's back legs tucked up so it looks like it doesn't have any! My only minor issue is it looks a tad over-exposed, I suspect because you didn't compensate by knocking off a 1/3 Ev. It looks like very bright weather, and it's worth doing this to keep the whites a bit less blown out. Overall, excellent though. |

Horses & Trap IIby cheekymunkyComment: I think the horses get lost a little in the background, which could partially be due to the desat. Nice crisp capture of the action though and nicely framed with the cones either side. |

Horses & Trap IIIby cheekymunkyComment: This is definitely a top notch shot, and loses nothing because of the audience. Again I'd like to see it in colour to see what it would be like in a magazine. |

Trap Displayby cheekymunkyComment: It would have been nice to see this in colour as it's got excellent composition for a magazine. |

Horses & Trap Iby cheekymunkyComment: Nice capture and nice cropping. Good sharpness too. I think I may have underexposed by a little bit more to avoid blowing out the horses. Always difficult with white horses outdoors! |

The Showjumperby cheekymunkyComment: Image looks a tad pale? Otherwise nice capture of the action and nicely cropped. Was this sharpened just a wee bit too much? I think I see some haloing in the trees. |

Just Between Usby jmooreComment: Excellent work - a practically faultless image for me. I think it should have scored well into the top 10.
I notice your image is less than 640px high. I think it would be worth submitting a larger image, especially with a nice high quality 1DmkII! :) |
