Interesting capture - I wonder how you did this! This could have done well but it would be nice to see the swimmer's face more and see slightly less disortion (particularly on his arm). Nice colour and contrast.

Amusing shot. I would have cropped a lot tighter on the guy on the LHS and left the RHS slightly looser with the shadow in. A tighter crop would have given the pic more of a professional 'sheen', and would have led to a pic with more impact.

Nice crispness. Shame the second cyclist's wheel has been chopped off - I think that would make a big difference to your score. Nice work.

Nice crisp head, although I'm not sure about the composition and lighting. You did well in what looks like fairly dark conditions, and interesting take on 'sports'.

Nice crisp photo, although again you were a little unlucky with the b/g being at the horses' head height. Nicely composed though and nicely filling the frame. Nice timing on the horses' front legs too. I notice the right horse's front right hoof is slightly blurred however, I assume because of a slightly slow shutter?

Nice timing with the horse jumping up. I think this is a little over-exposed, which it would be nice to compensate for.

If you were selling photos to participants and you WEREN'T editing shots (remember event photography generally generates a LOT of shots), then you may want to leave images as polished as possible in camera (which may mean leaving Ev compensation as 0). If you WERE editing shots however (as I do), it's well worth under-exposing by 1/3 or 2/3 Ev. It'll keep the whites in range and will make a nice even tone when you edit them. I can normally brighten up a pic just with auto-contrast/levels, which is very quick. Of course selling to magazines you will also want to underexpose, as you'll only be editing a handful of shots anyway.

Ah, good old carriage driving cones. :-) Again, a nice saleable image. You can see both participants - big plus, as well as both of the horses. You've also nicely cropped the image to keep the cones in, which is nice for the competitors viewing.

I'm not sure why here, but the rider's head looks slightly out of focus? Strange, because the back leg seems to be. :-/ Nice cropping though and good composition. The horse is leaning into a little bit of free space, which I like. This is a classic saleable image that you could offer to competitors. Little less b/g distraction would be nice.

You were unlucky with the background, because this is very nicely focused, timed and composed. If the rider had their head a little more forward that would be a superb straight-on shot that you really don't see that often. Nice work.
