	Gone With the Wind by GP Comment: Nice idea. I think I'd have tried to get the vane vertical. Also, it may have been worth running the image through NeatImage (www.neatimage.com), which would probably have made the sky nice and smooth.

	Lonesome Dove by scrum8 Comment: I like the colourisation and contrast. Not sure if composition has the dove a little low in the frame? It's not too noticable, but the image looks a little oversharpened? (Very sharp edge on the dove's breast, and speckles in the background.)

	OUTER AND INNER LIGHT - William C. Gough by jjbeguin Comment: I really like the colour and angles in this - just the kind of shot I appreciate. Not sure if it's unavoidable (camera maybe), but certain lines look quite jaggedy?

	The Sun Also Rises by Glen King Comment: This is a nice shot, but the image is very obviously ruined by jpegging at too low a quality. If you look at the sky is looks blocky and pixilated. I notice the image is only 13kb. DPC allows you 150kb to play with, so it may be worth creating a larger image to improve quality.

	My Side of the Mountain by adine Comment: Fantastic landscape. Pretty much spot on, but why did you choose that border? Had you cropped it to a sharp line, I don't think it would have made a lot of difference visually, but DPC's 'vote down fancy borders' police wouldn't be knocking off marks.

	Gift from the Sea (Anne Morrow Lindbergh) by Grandmom Comment: Nice colour and focus here. As I'm sure others will say - you somewhat over did the border. I think a solid colour (white, black) may have looked better.

	Fairy Lights by Samara Comment: Nice use of thirds, I think the tightness of the crop helps a lot. Unfortuantely the image looks a little noisy, I guess because you had to keep the room fairly dark to cast a reasonable ring of light. Reducing the ISO may help (if you didn't already) and also using a wider aperture.
