Aloneby Nikolai1024Comment: For me there is actually two pictures here. I'd like to see the bottom half as its own picture. It would have the swan fill the frame better and she would have more impact. Right now my eye is drawn to the top half of the frame and looking at the bottom is almost an afterthought. |

Take that Bitch!!!by Dirt_DiverComment: A tighter crop would be nice. Using the caption in the background would have been humourous and have more impact I think than the one you chose. |

Monumental - Fort Griswoldby pipersdComment: I am not sure if the hill in the foreground works for me. I'd like to see this shot from the other side of it. Nice sky and good contrast in the monument itself. |

Begining ( Pregnancy Confirmed)by rosiehallComment: a little underexposed in the hair. A bit of light would help. (otherwise you'd blow out the rest of the shot if you just adjusted the exposure). I'd like to see a tight shot of the butterfly on her stomach. Overall a great idea and well done. |

Izzyby MarjoComment: The snow works really well for a background here and I like the bits of snow in her hair. That face is adorable and you captured it quite well. Grats on your first 7+ btw. (I hope to get there myself!)

Pepperby JamesKWComment: Nice sharpness and good DOF. I like the expression and the angles you chose. I didn't vote during this challenge mainly because I knew there would be a lot of snapshots of the family pet. This one does have a nice polished look and feel to it. Eclipse08.jpgby scalvertComment: I am so jealous you got to shoot with a 400 mm. How much cropping did you have to do? I suspect not a lot. Good exposure and detail by the way. I'm just playing around with mine right now.. |

Perspectiveby LonzComment: The clouds are almost oversharpened. Not quite though... The result is great. I would clone out the bird on the left hand side above the horizon as it just looks like a distracting speck from this distance. |

Morning Frontby Shadowi6Comment: I am not sure that the monochrome works here. I would suspect that there is some great colors in the sky and in the water that are probably quite nice. The composition works well here and takes the eye throughout the frame. |
