Focusedby scottiehamComment: oversharpened in my opinion. The deer's hair looks bristly and almost "crusty" for lack of a better term.
The eyes of the deer are definitely engaged with the camera however and because of this there is a strong connection to the viewer. Excellent DOF and good focus on the eyes. |

Antares Jewel Boxby jlanoueComment: Not really a fan of the border. I think that borders need to be very simple as they tend to draw your eye away from the image. There purpose, in my opinion is to help "contain" the image.
That aside, incredible capture and I am in awe of the time and effort it probably took to get this image. |

Sandby lovethelightComment: interesting pose and I like the subtle lines that draw you towards her face. Great capture of the texture in the sand. |

Alzheimer'sby TammerComment: I don't really agree with the choice of title. The disease is hard to show in a photograph since its a mental disease.
What I see in this photograph is simply an elderly couple. That in itself is enough of a story and makes me want to know more about them. I like the use of the door to frame them and the bit of the house in the frame gives us an idea of the character of the house too. It makes me believe that this is the house that they've lived in most of their lives. |

Waiting with love...by rinacComment: Simple and effective. You may want to have them pose so you can show just their hands however this works fairly well the way it is. Nice lighting and good handling of exposure. |

Majesty by LouisaComment: Not sure about the desaturation. That being said I think that this would look cool in monochrome |

Elegant !by PanksComment: really tough scene to expose for. I think in this case you have to either shoot multiple exposures and use HDR or make a choice. Keep the detail in the highlights or try to get the detail in the shadows. With the sky you have I would have tried to hold the detail in the highlights. |
