This is pretty. And I sure do love garlic. This could use a bit more clarity but it still looks very good.

Meets the challenge well with the two personas but also the color and b/w sides of it. There are a couple other shots like this one and they're all pretty cool.

I see where you're going with it so okay meets the challenge (wouldn't have seen it if it weren't for the title though). I like the colors on the ground.

Meets the challenge imo. Technically I think the crop is a little too tight. It might be interesting to have the shadow included in the shot which would help to put it into the thirds position a little better. Interesting bottle shape though.

Meets challenge well. A little blown out in some areas and neat image or noise ninja would help a little in the sky area but it isn't that bad without it. You've done well with the colors. I like the golden look of the industry portion of this shot, just wish it wasn't blown out in some spots.

Okay old and young, fear and comfort.... fits the challenge. A little hot on the puppy's head but still very sweet.

Leukocyte & Erythrocytes...burst of life, fade of death.

Had to look up what those were and still don't know. All I could figure was that they both had to do with blood. I'll take your word for it that they're mutually exclusive groups. And blood being one of the things we can't do without I get the burst of life fade of death reference but also how the two fireworks here reflect that as well. One has just burst and the other is nearly dead. Looks like you are an intelligent person who's put a lot of thought into this challenge. As for the technicals I think you've done a good job here as well. The composition and color are pleasing. I know July 4th shots I took came out squiggly on most of them because I didn't use a tripod. In the end this probably isn't going to get the score it deserves.
