Nice job, Deb â two favs and an excellent placement. It is a charming photo. Too bad about the womanâs nose missing. And with the alternate crop, you lose one of the pigeons. Tough call. But I would have scored it higher if the half-face werenât distracting.

This was one of my favorites. I was surprised it didnât ribbon. Definitely says middle of the night. And it illustrates so well what it is like to be the only one who canât sleep. And then there is the cuteness factor. :))

Love the rich colors, the the clarity, the off-center composition, and the shallow depth of field. Ribbon well deserved. Congratulations!
(And I notice the troll slapped you with a â1â. No way could this ever be considered a âbadâ photo. The voter had to have been trying to destroy your good average.)
