Singled Outby jschroComment: Perfect DOF! The green one would have stood out anyway but gets extra oomph from the focus. I like the curvy line of the composition. Nit: there's a little too much space on top; it feels like it would be better balanced if the pins in the back were at a sharper angle instead of straightening out. |

(o)(o) by ralphComment: By far the best of the pencil/crayon/marker shots. Feels incredibly crowded by the similarities of all those brown pencils, every last one of them in focus, and then the white one just jumps right out as being different. Perfectly illustrates the challenge concept, IMO. |

Eggs Benedict Arnoldby bobbyt71Comment: That whisk is adorable. I really like how the eggs surround him but maintain much more space around him than from each other. He does have an out; perhaps he should take it ;-) Very nicely lit shot, in addition to the careful composition. Only nit is a speck of something on the bottom of the 2nd egg from the right that needs scraping off. |

The Flakes Have Taken Overby libertyComment: This belongs on a t-shirt, *with* the title. Bonus point for a morning giggle. Might like a bit more space on top of the leaf but overall composition makes your point nicely, as your DOF kept enought detail to see that there are flakes. |

Just a Lump of Clay - Mold Meby fuzzytComment: Aw, you gave it a little face! Not sure I like two different colors of beads as his crowd as much as I would have liked one, but he definitely stands out. |

Have you ever felt different to everyone else?by JudiComment: Awesome shot! Very unique pose on that guy on the right. For the challenge, it would have been better if the 2 in similar positions were also the same color. I don't know if it would have been possible to desat those two ... kinda' hard in Basic but might have worked since the guy on the end has a lot of yellow and the others don't. Or maybe just pump up the saturation on yellow to really make him pop out. |
