Okay, not sure if I get it but let me take a shot...the wooden figure mourns the fact that he is in a world full of color, and he has none??

Anyway, I like the composition and great focus!! I really don't like the border though. Interesting concept and very creative.

Great lighting, great focus, nice background it all works very well together. You might try having him face away from the camera a little more and at the same time look at the camera giving you a 3/4 view of his face. Just a thought. Also if you could get both hands in the shot I think it might help. Great shot though as is.

The eyes are the first thing that grab me with this one. I would like to see the kitty's front paws more in the light and I'm not sure about the border, but that's just my opinian, cool shot!

Yes, I have to agree it makes me think, I wonder where he is...very simple yet emotional. Yes I read the Photographers comments, this was my first impression when I looked at it before I read the comment. Maybe cropped a little less on the right opening it up a bit would help IMO. Small consideration though I think.

Nice lighting, I like the hint of clouds in the sky and the color of sky as well. Maybe just distortion from wide angle lens but it looks tilted to the right. Just my opinian but I think if it were cropped a little tighter on the bottom and give it more room at the top it would help a bit. Good shot!
