Prettu earrings. I don't think the composition does them justice - it seems haphazard. I also notice what looks like noise in the background. I had this problem when I did long exposures. I cleaned up the image in Photoshop with the noise filter for dust and scratch which is legal. I later found out that my camera has a "long exposure noise filter" as a custom setting and that also clears it up. You might check on one of these two methods.

The pink color is vibrant and I like th eway the petals have movement. The center of the flower takes up so much of the image and does not have the impact of the pink.

African Violet

I always have a hard time doing African violet photos - the surface is so shiny. I think if you look at the other flower shots in this challenge you will see notable differences in the area of composition and choice of background, focus acros the subject, and attention to detail such at the shadows across the flower. Keep up the good work.

Excellent detail. Colors are great. Twinkle in the eye. The backgound is the only negative and it is very minor.

Good color - the little blue gray on the right is a good touch. Soft rose photos are some of my favorites, but this one is a little too soft - it is loosing definition.

Good focus showing off the texture on the surface. Wish the screw could have been in focus since it is in the shot.

Good example. Composition is excellent. The very black background sets it off. Focus is a little soft, but it is OK for this subject.
