I like this because I like poppies in profile, with excellent light & great detail. When I try BW w/my poppy shots I get the same flat neutral grey in the petals but you've made it work in your favor here. It looks like prescious metal. Lovely.

Yeah, they will never have eaten any lead-based paint as a toddler, ridden in a car without restraints, or enjoyed unsupervised play time outdoors after dark in summer. Their first car will be a luxury SUV & when they go to college, their parents will buy them a condo with cable TV & broadband internet. I have absolutely nothing in common with them! But I like this shot!

Yes, I like this for the crisp blacks & whites, the fine detail & the way it makes a portrait of his face. The BG adds to the overall effect--it almost looks 3D & I keep expecting Lance to move. "D
