1by RetroesqueComment: What would the trees be without their sky, the air? The color of the sky looks so metallic, so unreal, that I can only assume this is exactly what you saw. The vignette -- or spotlight -- effect (something I don't usually care for) serves the tree very well in this comp. Well done! |

Orange Cosmos at Nightby MaryOComment: I think your friend would be pleased w/this shot. Love the rich color & the lighting you created. It's unusual to get a shot of a flower without a 'volunteer,' but they are not always as cute as that little spider. Well done! |

Venus-fly trapby sfaliceComment: Ouch! this is very sharp & interesting to look at. These blossoms are small, it would be a challenge to get it as sharp & clean as this--well lit, well done, nice job. |

Delicateby BAMartinComment: I like coming back to this for the energy. It reminds me of the interesting & amazing shots kids get, that a grown-up would never see or think or. At first the quirky leaf interrupted my viewing pleasure, but now I like it. It grew on me! |

Bee in a Beard Tongueby GeneralEComment: Well, you know it's August in Australia already! The glowing warm color of the bee draws my eye right into this comp & I am amused at the little legs sticking up. "D If there is such a thing as a candid bee-shot, this would be it! [eta] of course you simply must keep on posting to this thread! Message edited by author 2008-07-31 23:23:38. |
