Divine Sunsetby bnileshComment: Very pretty, and I think this is nearly the same as an earlier photo this year, minus a crowd of people at the bottom, yes? Many of the edges seem a big jagged, I assume that's because of resizing issues and would love to know the best way to avoid that myself. |

The Potato Eatersby ThingFishComment: Yes, I remember this from the forums. Seeing it again, I'm even more impressed. Wonderfully conceived. |

Aweby LevTComment: Very cool photo. Not to be snarky, but the photo lost some impact for me when I imagined he was actually crouching down to take a photo. Nevertheless the cowboy hat is the crowning (no pun intended) touch. A high vote from me. |

Mademoiselle Mby QartComment: So striking and unusual. Like the photographic version of a court painting (hence the perfect title, I guess). Beautifully lit and styled. A top score from me. |

Festival Spiritby denboteComment: So fierce! Seems as if he is emerging from the darkness. Like an image from a dream. A case where heavy color saturation works. |

My sentiments, too. :-)
Just taking a glance at your portfolio and this is the first photo I saw. |

Fragileby JudiComment: If it's not too odd to say, "lovely work." I'm not sure this is, as you say, something we can all relate to, though perhaps most of us can at least cringe at the topic. Frankly I thought the blood put this into an extreme realm. Powerful nonetheless.
By the way, I love your color treatment. Good comp, too, and I disagree with those who think the man should be less prominent. I think your chosen DOF is right on.

Levitationby gutsaComment: It's very cool, but appears rather more like Renderware than a photo, if that's a concern. |

Professional Catcher by LydiaComment: Congratulations, I'm happy to have been one of your 10 votes. This is a terrific shot all around and well deserving of a ribbon. |
