Think it turned out pretty well all things considered. I am not a fan of that move the light approach, at all. But if it salvaged a shot for you, then why the hell not use it.

Bit of sharpening artifacts, especially around the wire. Overall this works really well in bw and I find the little white flowers to be the real interesting part of the shot for some reason.

I'll be honest and hopefully not offend - I think you are missing some real gems with these scenes by not getting in there and looking around. Such wide shots aren't very interesting, but each of them shows glimpses of interesting things which are small or obscured. My free advice - get your shoes dirty and get in there.
