Had been out shooting earlier today (kids soccer, etc...) and put my 50mm in another bag temporarily. Got home, prepared to go back out again to run some errands. Grabbed what I thought was my 50mm out of the bag. Didn't realize until later (couldn't figure out why I couldn't get below F2.8) that I grabbed a 28mm lens I had put off to the side for repair or to sell for parts.

Shot this in the mall parking lot as the sun was setting. They had a huge planting of this decorative grass. Cropped to get past the "problem" with the 28mm.

Well, you ended up with a really nice perspective shot with great detail and texture. Maybe you want to rethink selling the 28mm.

Excellent A-symmetry with repetition!
The soft detail lends well to give the viewer a taste of the pallet.
nice image!

Great job in working with what you had. Way to capture the softness of the plant heads.
