Very nice. Like the various lines and shapes as well as the play of lights and shadows. A simple shot, but a nice study.

I like everything about this I just wish the dog, or at least his face, were just a bit brighter. As it is my eye keeps getting pulled to the bright spot on the fence behind. Other than that, the processing is great, composition is great, placing the pooch in front of the fence was a good choice, etc. Nice stuff.

Very nice. The leading lines created by the building are reflected in the placement of the three stones on the lawn. I also like the big stone in the foreground and that's something I have been trying to force myself to incporate in my shots (prominent foreground features). It's a tad sharp for my taste, evidenced by some jaggies showing up on the roofline, but a little fading in select spots would tone that down a bit. Overall, very nice work.

Actually something this heavily edited, especially heavily dodged and burned, would probably do well in a challenge...

I like this shot. The geometric shapes it presents appeal to me. I think a tighter crop (even a square crop) might work a little better, especially considering you burned off the top third of the shot anyway. Nice leading lines to draw the eye through the structure and some nice detail on the structure itself.

Nice shot.

Nice initimate capture. I agree there might have been a better vantage point to shoot from, both more flattering to the subjects as well as less hindred by the lighting. White shirts under a daytime sky are trouble. Might have had better luck shooting from in front of them. Still, overall a very nice shot.

Interesting. There's about 5 photos worth of material contained in this one shot lol.

I like the processing and the scene was well suited for it. However there's so much going on, it's hard to get myself hooked into any particular thing presented here. I'd agree with some comments below about trying alternative crops to try and give the eye a more limited menu of things to dine on. To me, the most unique thing shown here is a woman doing hair in some pretty radical looking boots and her client sitting there in gym shoes. Don't know why, but the contrast there jumps out at me right away and I'd like a photo that just shows me those two without everything else around them.

But hey, opinions are like...

Nice processing. Reminds me of a 40's/50's movie star glamour shot. Perfect amount of sharpening.

In general I think this is a bit overexposed. There's no winning with a daytime sky, but there are a lot of spots on the tree trunks and the rocks in the foreground that appear to have lost all detail.

The black and white processing you used seems to work well. Nice range of tones throughout the shot. I think the shot itself sort of suffers from the lack of any main subject though. As I look at it I keep wanting to be able to zoom in on those large rocks in the foreground. Wondering how it would look if shot from down low with the rocks and those tree trunks dominating the frame (and there would be no more sky to worry about either).

Overall nice work.

Don't hate the border but I'm wondering if you are doing your sharpening after adding the border? There's that weird sort of halo that follows the border around. Interesting composition and I think the subjects lend themselves well to black and white. Nice shapes, nice tones. Don't care for seeing the vase or glass in frame. Other than that, nice job.
