Dead Fastby squidviciousComment: Back to comment. I'm sure other commentors have mentioned that this image is a bit on the dark side. Although the subject meets the challenge, there is nothing in this picture to hold the view's attention for any length of time. |

Bone Yardby sbrian123Comment: Back to comment. The subject you choose is not the strongest subject for this challenge. The image lacks a strong focal point to draw the viewer's attention. If you look at the image closely, all of the rule of third nodes have nothing with real detail to command attention. The focus isn't the best, as the only place I can find that is sharply focused is the edges of the green car and since that is located near the edge of the image, it leads the viewer's eyes out of the image instead of holding their interest. |

UP by cloudsmeComment: Have to bump this to a 10. I assume you took this while riding in a hot air ballon. Wow! |

free rideby clictacameraComment: I like the shadow of the bike and the rack on the roadway and colors look very natural. There is a bit too much negative space on the right that doesn't really add to the image. There are two solutions to correct the negative space. First, give this image a square crop and just remove it. Second, this would require reshooting so not as likely, include more of the bus in the image and maybe a rider boarding if possible. |

I Like My Bike and This Is Why...by Blue_Moon_CatComment: Back to comment. You did an excellent job of composing this picture, with plenty of roadway towards the back of the image to show where the child it headed towards. This picture could benefit from a little sharpening, as it is hard to find a good sharply focused edge on the bike rider. Nice job and I̢۪m bumping this up. |

From the Groundby MichaelsComment: Back to comment. I really like the texture presented in this image. My only issue is the partial tree in the background. Perhaps a different angle or different bale of hay could have presented a better background. 6 |

From the ground-up.by TandangoComment: Back to comment. I love the play on words and hope you don't get hit too badely from the DNMC crowd. Technically, this doesn't meet the ground up perspective of the challenge description but I'll give you a 6 for giving me a smile this morning. |

Look way up...by RonRobertsonComment: You might want to consider rotating this 90 degrees clockwise and cropping out the partial palm tree and some of the empty sky at the top. This would provide a strong leading line from the tree trunk and the top of the tree would be at the upper node of the rule of thirds. Otherwise, good focus and exposure and I like that the colors look natural and not super saturated. I'm going to give this a 6, as the flaws are easily fixable. You got the hard part right. |

giant in the puddleby BeeGeeComment: I fear that the DNMC crowd will not like this. I like the out of the box thinking where you shot up by shooting down. Gave it a 6. |
