Chinese love letterby kat75Comment: Elegant shot. The subdued light and colours work well, and the elements are all nicely composed. Its a shame that there's a red tinge creeping in to the bottom right of the paper. |

Pen to Paperby H700256Comment: An eye-catching shot. There's a lot of empty space here, but I think it works (now I just need to work out why it works, so that I can start introducing space more effectively into my own shots...)
Effective use of light, too. Did you have the pen suspended on fishing line? |

Pen in Handby bhack101Comment: Nice mooody use of light and dark. Well framed, too; though I would have experimented with having the paper at a bit more of an angle. |

Looks Like I Need To "Sharpen" My Pencils!by BethieBComment: Nice idea, with a strong impact. It's a shame that the left most pencil is clipped off the edge of the shot, though. Did you think of trying for some more dramatic lighting? Maybe have the pencils receding into darkness... |

Handwrittenby betsypdxComment: Nicely composed shot. I like the effect of the narrow depth of field. |

Bunched Pencilsby hsvhoonComment: Great idea and execution - well lit, framed, etc. I might've been tempted to crop a little more off the bottom, though. |

Paper croissantsby silviulComment: Croissants, yes. But my initial impression was of the Sydney Opera House...
Great lighting, and I love the use of reflection. I wouldn't have cropped the right hand edge off, though. |
