This is very enjoyable presentation and story to go with it. The photos are sharp and detailed. It must have been enthralling to watch him play like that. Hawks seem so serious and dignified. It's wonderful that you have shown they can be playful too!

I have these visiting my bird feeder also. When I go outside they always take off. I love the noises they make and the way they bob their heads when they walk. They looks so clueless! :)

The DOF is great and I wouldn't change a thing. Nice lines with the tree framing and curve of the branch. Beautiful capture with great coloration!

We were out today and saw a lot of these. Big and small.

I like the blue tone of the water and the ripples. Nice! Looks like he saying "Jump in! The water is fine!

Wow! Mary has some good information! There are so many helpful people on DPC.
No, it's not lame!! You did really well with this one! Nice color and detail in the leaf and the skipper! You can see all the fuzz and veins and even the stripes on his little antennae. I have a similar one in my portfolio. Not quite as sharp as yours. I just love their big eyes. They sort of make them cartoon-like. :)

Ha! You are so lucky to have koalas to take photos of! They are one of the most adorable creatures on the planet! How can he be comfortable in that position? :) Wonderful detail and softness on the fur. You can almost feel it! Great capture!
