Soft and Sereneby robinssongComment: I am a sucker for B/W photos. I don't know how to described the tones but they are perfect. Very nice composition. The crisp focus on the cats face surrounded by the soft focus of his fur just makes this shot. Well done. I hope to take as good a photo in the future. This one should do well and it is one of my favorites. Good Luck. |

Day-14.jpgby magenmarieComment: I am not in the macro side challenge but I have been following it. I love the colors in this shot. Your composition is very good. I am not a big fan of the border. I think the border takes away from the subject. Great DOF. Good luck and have fun in the rest of your side challenge. |

Exoby StructorComment: Thank you for your comment on my Even Odds Oxymoron. Imagine my surprise to see it come from someone whose work I admire very much. Iceland looks like a very wonderful place. This photo of yours was one of my top favorites in unrelatedness. Love the colors and simplicity of the shot. |

Beautiful Dreamerby robinssongComment: Nice crisp focus on the Macaw and great bokeh affect in the background. The greens in the background compliment the colors of the bird very nicely. The dark shadows in the back seem to make an outline of a larger bird with a closed eye. Guess the bird must have been tired. The lines of his eye seem to flow perfectly with the black lines of his face. Lighting is very good in my opinion. Great job and I hope this does well. |

Alone Togetherby levyj413Comment: Just wanted to say I gave you a 10 for this shot. I really felt this one should have done better. My eyes are drawn to the guy in the middle but then they roam and you see how everyone is alone in the crowd. I like how you had most everyone in focus. The lighting was pretty good also. I can't think of anything I would change. You seized the moment and that is what it is all about. I would love to get a shot like this someday. Great job. |

The Woodpecker Discovers a Woody!by robinssongComment: You must have great patience. Having the woodpecker in the shot is priceless. I love the pose of the Woody. It looks like it is enticing the woodpecker closer. Not bad bokeh. The whole overall composition just makes this shot. Great job. I hope you do well. |
