To me the wrinkle in the back drop is a big distraction and holds the image back, the flower itself is gorgeous with perfect focus and DOF. 6

I really like the subject and the lighting with the window bar shadows. One thing that kind of bothers me about the image is that it looks a little tilted and I think it would look much nicer if it were tilted slightly to where the pot looks level. Still a very nice image, good luck in the challenge.

love the colors of the plant but I find the background is very distracting. The DOF could also be improved by either going with more DOF or by focusing on the front of the plant rather than the middle. Hope the information helps, good luck in the challenge.

IMO, nothing spoils a photo quicker than a wrinkled back drop or a backdrop with a color that does not compliment the subject, unfortunately this one has both. I am OK with the back drop color against the flowers but feel it really conflicts with the color of the vase. Hope the information helps, good luck in the challenge.
