Really nice scene, looks like time of day was a little bit of an issues and the sky does not look great but I like the way the trees have very distinct dark lines and provide a cut out for the wildflowers to be displayed.

This shot just really does not work for me, IMO the image is very busy and does not really have great tones and colors to help carry the busyness of the image. Looks like the image was taken mid day which is not a great time to be taking this type of shot and the evergreens are really dark in comparison to the other trees. Finding aspen groves that do not have evergreens mixed in really helps and time of day is always key. Hope the info helps, good luck in the challenge.

When I look at this image the first thing I see is the black line in the middle which really ruins the shot for me, overall I like the tones and thing the scene would have been interesting without the line. 5

How did you get beat by buzzard 5.4?, I just realized I was one ahead of you. It is amazing how many times we have finished so close together. I like you shot better than mine, very under rated, I still think this was a very good take on the subject and the quality of the photo is really nice.
