I like the idea and the image of the bird peeking around the tree but the bright branch in the background is such a distraction to me that it takes away from the image.

The windmill is great but with such an overall dark image the bright lights become a real distraction, to bad you could not find an angle where they would be a little more hidden. Also not sure I like the subject so centered but I do like the subject itself and the way the sky back lit the blades works nicely.

Beautiful image, not a great fit for the challenge in my opinion, if the image would have been just the peaks against the clouds that may have worked better as far as meeting the light on White challenge. Just my opinion but still a lovely image, good luck in the challenge.
