Great job! The subtleness of the colors of the sky and water make this very nice. Has a quiet and calm effect to it. However, a water shot, or even a shoreline shot, does not always mean 'beach' in my opinion. And meeting the challenge, to me, is the first and most important thing, if that isn't done, then anything else is unimportant. Doesn't mean it's not a beautiful and creative shot, because in this case, it absolutely is! I do love it! I went back and forth on how to score your pic, but I do vote low for those that I don't think meet the challenge, so to be consistant, I am voting this lower than I want for the reasons stated above.

Great job! A pretty shot, although corners seem to be a little blackened. Maybe that is your intent, I don't know. Pretty colors, but seems to be a little lackluster. Great job! A nice title to add to a nice photo. Although the lighting seems to be a bit flat in this one, and the colors washed out. Even still, I am upping the score from a 4 to a 5.

Great job! I'm usually not big into wildlife shots, but this one is very nice. Hope you had a tele lens and took this from a distance. Anyway, good capture of life in the wild. Raising original score from a 4 to a 6. Originally, I didn't classify this as a beach photo, I thought it was a roadway. But it appears to be a beach afterall.

Great job! I love the 'violence' in the water as the dogs play. Amazing to see the action stopped that way, where I can see them actually kicking up some sand/mud. The colors are very pretty in this. I'm not usually into animal pics, but this is one of the better ones that I've seen. Raising original score from a 4 to a 7.
