My First Christmas Tree by SonifoComment: Looks like a truly magical moment. The soft focus here is perfect, composition is great - like sneaking a peak at her own little private ceremony, and the lighting is wonderful. Very natural look/pose/feel. A definite christmas card look. Excellent shot. |

Brrrrrr......which way is south?by scrum8Comment: The bird seems to be screaming out to be nice and sharp. It seems more out of focus than soft focus, but that could be because of the subject. The red is very vibrant, though, and the composition is good. |

Soft Stillby MWittComment: The mix of the hard pebbles and the fragile leaf is interesting. It's fairly soft, which is good, and the colors in the pebbles are good. It seems just a tad overexposed, but the textures are good. |

Pretty In Pinkby sagestudioComment: The mix of colors is very vibrant and colorful. Composition is good. Her expression is good, and the skin tones are nicely even. It's usually good to have the eyes be very sharp on portraits that have been softened, although I understand how that could be difficult giving the restraints of the rules. The single strand across her cheek is a little distracting, but not overly so. |

... to drinkable water whenever I want it... by kosmikkreeperComment: My first thought was that this had been neatimaged, or similar - there seems to be areas of very smooth smudges. I like the water in the hand, and a few of the waterdrops are nicely captured. Not sure about the sepia tone for this, though - it almost seems an unnatural coloring for the skin tone of the hands. Composition is ok, and the lighting/exposure is good. |

Homeby spillerComment: The cat really adds to it! Hrm, very picturesque, although a tad underexposed maybe. Not a huge fan of the angle, tho. The perspective makes what appears to be the horizon line tilted, and the emptyness on the left makes the crop on the right seem very tight, which unbalances the image. If the angle of the house can be corrected then I would say this could be christmas card worthy. |

The Gift of Life!by ArtifactsComment: Not sure what the white wisps are or what they represent. The signed heart is a good idea and subject, although it's a little dark. Like so many images in this challenge, it likely holds more emotional value with the photographer, but it's a good shot. |
