Rained Outby DigitmasterComment: I like the creative design but wish you had used a different shooting angle as I find the shadowed fence and post in the middle of your shot distracting. |

Antiquatedby trying2bstillComment: Not that interesting subject matter in the context within which it's placed. Image suffers from lack of detail in shadows causing blocking up in lower left. |

Petuniaby Crafty SueComment: Though color is good, subject appears too dark. Can be corrected with proper choice of metering mode. |

A Center Pieceby TikicharmComment: To my eye, there is not enough of seperation between main subject and background, creating some confusion even with the narrow DOF you've achieved. I think the problem lies in the lighting and common toning/coloring. I also find the lighting to be too bright on the main flowers...contrast is too high here and you have nearly blown out areas and very dark shadows. A little hard to look at. |

Drummers Eyesby pitsamanComment: Very interesting subject matter; I like the dramatic/action capture here with the theatrical lighting. The intensity of the light coming from the left of the performer, though, too great (creating a large blown out area on the face and a gaping shadow from the nose) work well here to provide the performer with a "possesed" look. Well done. |

Snailby PoobaComment: Beautiful subject, but wish you hadn't used such harsh lighting as it's created glare and deep shadow at the bottom. |

The Freshest Juiceby bruskiComment: Very original and creative composition. Love the backlighting and nicely saturated color and the way you've captured the drop in the center. Also like the way you've captured the rind and spray on the bottom. Very well done. |

Peony Helpersby dphillipsComment: Really like the composition and color here, but find the flash too strong and harsh. |
