In a Crannied Cliffby rioloboComment: Nice study of a fern and colors work good. Focus is a little soft for this composition. Since there is nothing in this image that viewers can associate with being a longer exposure they will probably give this image a lower score. |

Night Lightsby digital-infinityComment: Subject and idea fine for this image. Tones in BG clouds good. It has some technical issues that are distracting. Should set a black point that makes all the trees solid black. If you desaturate yellows and reds somewhat then you could reduce the effect of the overexposed lights and moon. |

no titleby kyeboshComment: Nice idea and a unique way to meet this challege. Middle "exposure" is a little out of focus. |

The Grand Riverby KGregoryComment: Good exposure, colors and composition. For a longer exposure challenge it might have been nice to make it even longer to show motion in the river and some voters will nix you for it claiming it looks like an "ordinary" picture. |

Indigo Cloud Rollsby lifternessjtComment: Must have been a very still night to get such nice detail in the foreground. Nice color processing that makes an interesting composition. The longer exposure time nicely shows movement of the clouds. |

Sweet Dreamsby LimboComment: Nice lighting, good brown tones, good facial tones and decent framing except for cutting off the top of the baby's head. In most images you reserve sharpest focus for the most important element in the image. In this case that is implied to be the baby's hand. Might be a stronger composition if the baby's face were in sharpest focus instead. |

Needles and Haystackby ZoomdakComment: Not every Haystack Rock picture will win a ribbon but a nice sihlouette with the trees. Would work really well at sunset. :) |

CAL-EH-FORN-YAby bryanbrazilComment: Beautifully framed. It is very nice that the foreground sihouettes a well lighted building. The dark framing makes the bright building stand out even more. One of the best images in the challenge. |

• Grounded •by Bear_MusicComment: Like this. Good composition, lighting and decent post processing. You will probably get some, hopefully not many, who vote it lower thinking the foreground framing is weak. |

Ying-Yangby buzzrockComment: Very clever image. Good choice to use primary colors. Thought provoking concept. Good technicals. The only negative is basic rules don't allow you to clone the distracting defects from the bowl and background. |
