Dogwoodby draney4Comment: Nice combination of green and white. The main subject is a little too centered, maybe a different crop with the flower placed more towards one of the corners might have helped. Otherwise good job! - Gary. |

Morning Primrosesby pinbackComment: Green, yellow and white complement each other very well and you 've taken full advantage of this. I've always wondered what primroses look like and now I know thank you - Gary. |

Creeping Towards the Skyby BassInABandComment: Interesting perspective! The main subject is fully in focus and placed in the lower right corner following the rule of thirds, good. |

Camelia with flyby psharpeComment: Nice capture, you got lucky with the fly. The lighting seems a little too harsh around the edges of the flower otherwise well done. |

After the stormby xertionComment: Critique Club:
Hi E.J. Again I have the honor of critiquing your photo. This is one of those shots I would have thought would do a lot better. I really like this pic a lot, but you can never foretell how the rest of the DPC voters will vote right?
The lighting is perfect here, the detail is amazing, those water drops look just so crisp. The decision to do this in black and white was okay, I think it has come out well, although a lot of comments below state they would rather have seen this in color.
The cropping is something I would have done differently, the main subject seems just a little too centered for me.
Apart from that I think you did a good job.

Pink Treeby ladpupmoeComment: This is an interesting shot. At first I thought this house was on wheels till I realised they were bushes under the house. The power lines are pulling my eyes away from the tree a little. |

Green Cradleby SteveSComment: Good shot. The main subject looks a little too centered, not following the rule of thirds, but it is okay. The blurring of the background using a shallow DOF also works! |

Floraby bcncrazyComment: Choice perspective it works very well. The sky looks quite grainy but it doesn't lower the quality of the pic too much, good. |
