Falling wild flowerby fredahenryComment: You are capturing the stems failing right? I think you have a nice focus here. I would have like to have seen the flower in the photo as well. |

Failure to Launchby CutterComment: I think I would have understood it more if I knew what your subject was. It looks like it could be a blue egg, but I don't follow how it failed to launch. Maybe a zoomed out a little or took a different angle to show what your subject was and/or how it was launched or changed the title. Also I can't really pin point where you are trying to focus. I think, and just my opinion, that all the blue should be in focus. |

Fade To Blackby PhotonurdComment: Great image...Great use of contrast. One thing I notice is that his arm looks like it may be going up so that his hand is on his forehead. If you could have kept his arm visible with his hand on his forehead, that would have really got your objective across. |

Never to be Foundby novaComment: Based on your title, looks like you are trying to convey a kid going off into the wilderness. It doesn't really grab me as failure. I wouldn't call this a did not meet challenge, but more on the lines of you don't fully convey your objective.
Technically: the photo is pretty good. Nice use of color. |

Dirty Failureby robshookphotoComment: The photo is quite grainy. It looks like you may have applied noise for effect, but would have been better without the grain. Your use of focus (which you did quite nicely) would have conveyed the effect you need if the photo had remained sharp. |

Gear Failure: worn-out socksby fencekickerComment: I don't understand the set up here. I'm not quite sure why the flowers are there. Their bright colors take your focus off your subject of the socks. I'm immediately drawn to the flowers as soon as I look at the photo. |

Available: Commercialby elemessComment: You don't make it clear where failure falls into this photo. The image has a tree right in the path of sight, which distracts from the whats in the windo. The window also has too much of a reflection. everytime I look at the window I'm first drawn to the open sign, then the red car in the background and finally the alarm sign. |

Flippedby vtruanComment: Great action shot. Nice focus. Title explains what can't be seen in the photo. |
