 Robin's egg destroyed. Failure of life...

Post Challenge: I found this egg alone and I did not rob it of its chance for life. it is a robin's egg for people who didn't know what it was. Above a 6 is always a success. Below 6 is a, well, you know.

Also, failure to make a good breakfast. Nicely seen and very well captured. The black part of the frame is a little too much, but still a great image. Did you feel bad after you tossed that out of the nest? (KIDDING)

I think I would have understood it more if I knew what your subject was. It looks like it could be a blue egg, but I don't follow how it failed to launch. Maybe a zoomed out a little or took a different angle to show what your subject was and/or how it was launched or changed the title. Also I can't really pin point where you are trying to focus. I think, and just my opinion, that all the blue should be in focus.

Ooo, I thought about trying to shoot around that title, but never came up with anything good. Glad to see the theme put to great use! :) I love the shallow DOF.
