Matter and Antimatterby pwm6Comment: Quite a wonderful photo. I really like how the light and tones in the repeating shapes change as you move from top to bottom. Don't know how you did this, but its quite inventive! |

G'day Mate! by cheegirlComment: Nice colors and composition, good detail. On my monitor, there seems to be a little too much noise in the reds, but otherwise a lovely photo... |

Spoon over plateby anirenoComment: Very nice composition and excellent sharpness. However, I wonder if this would have worked even better without the water droplets... |

Trigger Happyby BradComment: Good focus, lighting and color. The gun in the photo raises a lot of questions about the scene, and raises the visual interest in this photo, although I sort of wish there were some more visual cues as to why she is holding that gun, which I think would help complete the story... |

Bored and waiting for summer.by aKiwiComment: Really wonderful expression and mood that you captured in this little boy, which fits well with your title. However, I find the white background to be a little distracting, pulling my eyes off you main subject. Perhaps the original background was too busy, which is why you chose to remove it. The highlights on the hair and the arm also seem just a touch blown on my monitor. |

A Moment to Herselfby sir_bazzComment: You caught a very nice mood here. Backlighting is always difficult, but you have nice control of your highlights ansd shadow detail, resulting in a pleasant photo. I think I might have considered pointing the camera a bit more to the right, so that the window is centered in the frame and the subject is a bit more off centered to the left - the empty wall to the left looks a bit odd, compositionally, to my eye... |
